Courage to Call

Courage to Call had a RAD time this past Saturday at Aid Station #8! We had all the ICE ICE BABY to keep the runners cool with water as they reached the last part of their run for the Beach and Bay Half Marathon. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who came out to help us at 6 AM! Thank you Beyond Events for the fun and hope we can do again in the future! (There may or may not have been some awesome 80’s moves in there too) ... See MoreSee Less

Today we marked another success in assisting a Veteran family getting housed through SSVF. We are so thankful for The Home Depot boxes and home essentials that were donated some time ago so that we can give these to Our Veteran families once they find the housing they need! Thank you to our outreach staff and Program Manager that made sure we were able to support the family as they waited through this process. ... See MoreSee Less

Please join the National Conflict Resolution Center and KPBS Community Hero Nico Marcolongo for a powerful Community Circle on Tuesday, April 16th at 5:00pm.

The topic of this circle will be the veteran's health and post-service reintegration.

A Community Circle is a very special gathering for candid sharing of personal stories and perspectives, an opportunity to tap into the wisdom of the collective community, and a time to form deeper bonds with our neighbors.

Please register today to save your spot at this powerful event - we would love to meet you there! See flyer below for additional information, and feel free to contact Brittney Ochira at bochira@ncrconline.com if you have any questions.
