Women Veteran “Be The Change” Conference (SDSU & County), October 13

The first-ever Women Veterans Forum in San Diego on Oct. 13, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SDSU Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. The event kicks off San Diego State University’s new Women Veterans Success Program and is in partnership with the County of San Diego and supported by many local veteran organizations. Active duty, veterans, and military-connected individuals are invited to attend the forum which provides women veteran opportunities to build a network and create a community of fellow veterans. Participants will also learn about VA benefits, women veterans’ resources, professional development, and education. “Be the Change” recognizes and celebrates women veterans’ passion and perseverance and seeks to empower attendees in areas of personal, professional, and academic successes.
